As your President, allow me to welcome you to the NCDOA website and introduce myself. I am Lt. Michael Adkins with the Caswell County Sheriff's Office. I have tought D.A.R.E. for 12 years and I am very excited about the upcoming year for NCDOA.

     Your Board of Directors and Executive Board will be working diligently to provide you with the highest level of D.A.R.E. related information and training available. We have many activities planned this year and we encourage each D.A.R.E. Officer in the State of North Carolina to participate.  This is an exciting time for the NCDOA and our State Training Center.  There will be a D.A.R.E. Officer's Training this year!  State Coordinator Lee Gurthrie has worked extra hard to make this training possible.  Please visit this websites training section for more information.  I encourage you to make it a habit to visit this site and dare.com as frequently as possible to stay up to date on the most recent training and community projects nearest you.

     The Board of Directors will be working hard this year to explore new funding ideas to benefit the NCDOA membership and current D.A.R.E.
