Hi, my name is Kelsey Bryant
from North
Carolina, and I have been the YAB member since last year, but I have been around the DARE program
for as long as I can remember.
I am 16 years old, a junior
in high school, and play varsity volleyball and soccer. I love to go four-wheeling and ride my horse, Dakota, being
that I live in the middle of nowhere!
My DARE officer has been
my neighbor for the past few years and I am very close to his family through school and church. The DARE program has
been a good influence in my life and the lives of my friends. I've learned to stay away from drugs because they take
away your friends, dignity, and sometimes your life or the life of others you care about.
I am helping myself stay away from
drugs by choosing good friends and staying away from bad influences. Through DARE I have learned how to help others.
By living drug and violence free I am happy because I am free to live my life to the fullest. I wish to share this message
with everyone around me.
